We are now looking for a person who wants to strengthen Gränges’ Group Sustainability team and contribute to the sustainability development at Gränges, in the role as Sustainability Controller.
Your main task will be to coordinate sustainability performance data, incl. gathering, analysis and reporting on all sustainability aspects of Gränges’ operations and value chain, thereby ensuring that Gränges’ stakeholders continuously have access to credible sustainability performance data. You will support the Director of Sustainability Reporting in continuous sustainability reporting and analysis to ensure that Gränges complies with current and future legislation and voluntary sustainability standards (e.g. GRI, EU taxonomy, CSRD, CSDD, SBTi) and be an internal ‘centre of excellence’ for sustainability reporting frameworks. As you evolve in your role, you will be more involved in all kinds of projects related to sustainability.
The position is placed at Gränges head office at Linnégatan in Stockholm, and you will report to the Director Sustainability Reporting.
Main responsibilities
- Coordinate and follow up monthly, quarterly and annual sustainability reporting.
- Support in the implementation of Gränges’ global sustainability strategy, targets and policies.
- Ensure quality and efficiency in Gränges’ legal and operational sustainability reporting.
- Support with sustainability analysis for business insight and decision-making.
- Further develop system support.
- Further develop Gränges’ climate impact reporting in line with the GHG Protocol guidelines, e.g. build internal climate tools, scenario calculations.
- Review ESG rating reports and respond to sustainability questionnaires from customers and other stakeholders.
- Be a super user in Gränges’ sustainability system, and further develop digital system support to enable traceable, efficient and credible reporting processes and data.
- Conduct sustainability stakeholder dialogues and materiality assessments to fulfil stakeholders’ requirements and expectations on sustainability reporting.
- Be a speaking partner on subject-matter topics related to internal/external audits.
- Participate in selected and prioritized sustainability related projects.
- Act as an ambassador for long-term sustainable development.
Experience
You have a Master degree in Engineering, Economics or equivalent, preferably with a focus on environment/energy/sustainability. You also have a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience from controlling, consultancy, or auditing within Sustainability and/or Finance. Most importantly, you have a great interest in working in the sustainability area and experience from working with sustainability reporting. You are fluent in English and Swedish and have a high degree of literacy in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
