We are seeking a talented individual to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.

Your tasks and areas of responsibility

Our company has experienced significant growth in recent years, both organically and through strategic acquisitions, with ambitious plans to continue on this path.

As a Group Financial Controller, you will be part of a high-performing team, working on core strategic, operational, and financial matters within a highly successful company. You will be a key player in the consolidation and reporting of the group, as well as in analyzing and reviewing the financial closing. This role involves close collaboration with various divisions, the CFO, and other department leaders, making teamwork a central aspect of your daily responsibilities. Additionally, you will have an important role in leading and supporting projects focused on process optimization and system improvements.

The Group Accounting, Reporting, and Control team consists of 5 members based in both Sweden and France. You will report directly to the Head of Accounting, Reporting & Control, and your role will be based at our headquarters in central Stockholm.

Your primary tasks will be:

  • Participation in the group consolidation process according to IFRS.
  • Review and analysis of month, quarter and year-end closes together with the finance control team.
  • Take key part of creating the interim and annual reports for the Group, including responsibility for writing the text in the finance back section.
  • Participate in the group forecast and budget consolidation.
  • Prepare various financial management materials, including management reporting.
  • Support analysis of the financial and operative results, including the group’s inventory to better understand the company and derive actionable insights.
  • Participate in the implementation and integration of the newly acquired companies.
  • Provide support and training to subsidiaries on accounting and reporting matters.
  • Collaborate and drive the ongoing development and improvement of financial processes and routines and other ad-hoc tasks and projects within finance.

Your profile

We believe that you have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent education, along with at least 6-8 years of professional experience, likely as an auditor or in a group reporting role within a large corporation. You have solid knowledge of IFRS and consolidation processes. Furthermore, you have a genuine interest in consolidation systems and are eager to work with continuous development of systems and efficiency of process. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish (mother tongue) and English, and knowledge of French is an additional plus.

Personal skills

To be successful in this position, we are looking for someone who is ambitious, driven, and has strong analytical skills. You should possess a flexible mindset and constantly seek new ways to improve the business and your own development. Additionally, we value a high sense of quality and a strong sense of ownership over your tasks and deliverables. Finally, to thrive in this role, you should be a self-starter who enjoys working on both strategic and operational levels and is eager to tackle challenging problems.
