Permobil is now seeking a Treasury Analyst to join the Group Finance team. About the position
In this position, you will play a key part in managing and shaping the group’s treasury activities at Permobil. You will ensure Permobil’s overall objective in building and maintaining an efficient capital structure, managing currency risks, and overseeing cash and liquidity management, as well as handling relationships with banks and financial institutions. A part of the role also includes working close with the Group Reporting & Consolidation Manager with group accounting and consolidation tasks. You will be involved in various projects and collaborate with different teams and departments ensuring smooth financial reporting and closing.
This is a new position at Group Finance, which means that you will have the opportunity to shape the role and contribute to improvements and new ways of working. Key responsibilities
Treasury Operations:
- Liquidity Management: Support the management of liquidity and loans, including the administration of external and internal loans. Optimize the use of liquidity.
- Group Cash Pool Administration: Manage and optimize the group’s cash pool to ensure efficient use of liquid assets and minimize financing costs.
- Daily Treasury Support: Provide daily support to the shared services and other stakeholders managing daily cash flows and bank relationships.
- Cash Flow Forecasting: Assist in the quarterly cash flow forecasting process to ensure accurate cash flow management, including collecting and analyzing data to predict future cash flows.
- Currency and Interest Rate Risk Management: Assess currency risks and interest rate risks and address high exposure.
Reporting and Consolidation:
- Consolidation and Financial Reporting Process: Support the Group Reporting & Consolidation Manager in the monthly reporting process, ensuring all financial reports and board reports are accurate and timely.
Requirements
You have a university degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. After your studies you have 3-5 years of experience of working within the treasury related area. You have a high level in Excel and experience working with banking/cash platforms and ERP platforms. Furthermore, you speak English fluently.
Equally important as having the right experience is your mind-set and willingness to learn. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle financial data. You are an independent person as well as a team player enjoying taking on challenges with your colleagues. The ability to multitask in a changing environment and identify opportunities for improvement is necessary to succeed at Permobil.
