Financial Controller to Indutrade

Join Indutrade and become part of our dynamic, entrepreneurial world, where people truly make the difference! Indutrade is a publicly listed, fast-growing international group with annual revenues of SEK 32 billion and a presence in over 30 countries. We are now seeking two ambitious Financial Controllers, one for each of our business areas: Life Science and Technology & Systems Solutions – two dynamic operations with substantial international reach and revenues of SEK 5–7.5 billion each.

The business areas consist of 30–40 subsidiaries operating across several global markets. They are characterized by innovation, with a goal to grow through strategic acquisitions every year. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to Indutrade’s ongoing success while advancing your career and growing alongside us.

We are looking for someone who is relationship-oriented, business-minded, and proactive – ready to take the next step in an international and development-driven environment.

Is this your next challenge?

As a Financial Controller, you will be the primary contact person for the subsidiaries regarding reporting and internal controls. In this versatile role, you ensure high quality and efficiency in financial reporting while guarding deadlines and fostering strong relationships with the subsidiaries to support them in maintaining robust control routines. A key aspect of the role is assisting with acquisitions, where you will be responsible for integrating the financial reporting structures of new companies into the group and potentially assist in the Due Diligence Process.

With close collaboration with Indutrade’s head office, you will act as a critical communication link, ensuring that subsidiaries’ reporting is accurate, complete, and delivered on time. You will work with senior stakeholders within the group and participate in board meetings for the portfolio companies. Additionally, you will develop analyses and reporting tools that identify trends and deviations, helping the business area stay ahead. In this decentralized environment, where subsidiaries are at the forefront, close collaboration and a deep understanding of the local companies’ needs are essential.

This position is based in Kista and reports to the Business Area Controller. Travel is required to visit subsidiaries.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main contact and provide support to subsidiaries on financial matters
  • Ensure the quality and timeliness of subsidiaries’ accounting and reporting
  • Onboard and integrate new companies into the group
  • Develop system tools and proactively work to improve system utilization
  • Participate in sustainability reporting
  • Drive improvement projects to enhance and streamline processes

What Indutrade offers you

Indutrade provides significant opportunities for personal and professional development in an environment filled with entrepreneurial companies and engaged individuals. The role is based at Indutrade’s head office, where approximately 130 employees from both the parent company and several subsidiaries work. The office features a restaurant, gym, and pleasant social spaces.

Your profile

You hold an academic degree in finance or economics and currently work in a similar role, with experience in reporting, preferably from a mid-sized company. You have an interest in systems and digital tools and see their potential for improving efficiency. Experience with acquisitions/financial DD-work  and the onboarding of companies, especially in an international environment, is an advantage. Fluency in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing, is essential for this role.

Your personality

Your personality and attitude are just as important as your formal qualifications. You are ambitious, solutions-oriented, and take the initiative to drive work forward. With your pedagogical skills, you adapt your message to different audiences and build trust in various contexts. To succeed as a Financial Controller, you need to be confident in yourself, flexible, and adaptable. Your communicative and attentive nature makes you thrive in a social role where you act as a sounding board and collaborate with colleagues across the organization.
