Your areas of responsibility

Securitas Intelligent Services (SIS) was established in January 2018 as a company dedicated to centralizing Securitas’s IT costs within a global IT organization. In addition to this IT organization, SIS also encompasses a business unit responsible for advancing the Securitas Group’s new business strategy and developing data-driven intelligent services and products within Intelligent Security (Securitas Digital). This function plays a central role in Securitas’s operations, with SIS tasked with planning, coordinating, and executing the company’s global business strategy.

As a Financial Controller, you will focus on both Securitas Digital and Technology Europe and play a central role in the financial management of key transformation and digitalization initiatives. Your main responsibilities will include budgeting, financial follow-up, and cost analysis for IT costs, product costs, and transformation costs across Europe. You will also take an active role in designing and implementing chargeback models to ensure effective cost allocation.

This role offers extensive exposure to senior stakeholders and cross-border collaboration with multiple countries within Securitas. In this dynamic and international environment, you will have significant opportunities to influence and optimize financial processes, contributing to the development of the future digital security offering. You will be part of the SIS Finance team in Stockholm, consisting of eight professionals, working from Securitas’s headquarters in Kungsholmen, Stockholm.

As a Financial Controller, you will have a broad role with many points of contact. Your responsibilities will include, among other things, the following:

  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial follow-up and analysis
  • Reporting
  • Cost allocations
  • Chargeback models
  • Business case development
  • Supporting the division’s CIO, VP of Business Control for Digital, the company’s CFO, and other stakeholders with various ad hoc queries and projects
  • Continuously working on development and process improvements

Your profile and qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess strong analytical skills with a structured mindset. You thrive in a dynamic environment where processes and systems are constantly evolving, and you are not afraid to take the lead on improvement initiatives. This role requires you to be highly self-driven, curious, and eager to develop—both technically and from a business perspective. You are motivated by working proactively, have strong collaboration skills, and are comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels, from product owners to senior executives.

You have an academic degree in finance or accounting and at around 2–3 years of experience as an auditor at a Big Four firm and/or in a similar role. Experience working in an international environment is required, and you speak and write English fluently. You are data-driven and a proficient Excel user, with the ability to process and analyze large amounts of data and present insights in a concise and structured manner. Experience in designing and implementing financial data structures in BI tools is a plus.
