In 2020 Loomis launched Loomis Pay a complete end-to-end payment platform and took a major step in the ambition to expand its presence across the value chain. According to the strategy Loomis will continue with acquisitions in the industrial sector but also in Fin-Tech, in both existing and new markets. Considering the journey ahead Loomis is now looking to recruit a M&A Manager. This position provides an excellent opportunity to pursue the strategic M&A agenda on a global basis and shape the future of Loomis business.
About the position
As M&A Manager at Loomis you will be involved in all steps of M&A processes. You will be the project leader or work together with Head of M&A, depending on the size of the projects. As M&A Manager you will work closely with central functions and senior management, including Group Management. You will also have close contact with external stakeholders, advisors and lawyers. You will be a part of the M&A-team (3 people) and report to Head of M&A (part of Group Management and drives the strategic M&A agenda across the group). The position will be located at Loomis head office in central Stockholm and will occasionally include traveling.
Key Responsibilities
You will primarily work with the following tasks:
- Research and identify new opportunities for acquisitions globally
- Coordinate all steps of M&A processes
- Perform valuation analysis and financial modeling
- Coordinate and perform financial and operational due diligence
- Close contact with advisors, consultants and lawyers
- Evaluate the outcome of post-merger integration
- Prepare material and presentations for Group Management and Board
- Participate in Group projects and ad hoc tasks
Your profile
You have an academic degree in finance, engineering or related field and 2-4 years relevant experience from transactions. You are most likely working within transaction services at a bigger audit firm, corporate finance advisor, investment banking or a similar position at a global company. Preferably you have good theoretical knowledge and experience in valuation and financial modeling. Furthermore, you are fluent in English and preferably in any another language (e.g. Spanish). Swedish is desirable but not mandatory.
Personal skills
To succeed in this position you need strong analytical and project management skills. You are motivated by problem solving and display a high degree of creativity and endurance in projects. You have a great sense of accuracy and the ability to structure complex information and data.
