Your tasks and areas of responsibility
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of a company that’s scaling rapidly through both organic growth and acquisitions. You’ll have the opportunity to establish new financial frameworks, reporting manuals, and process workflows, making a tangible impact on our operations.
The ambition is that the role will lead projects with local accounting departments, such as finance process development, shortening closing lead times and support relevant net working projects (e.g., cash collection). You will initially have one direct report, but it will increase to 2-3 individuals over the next few years. The position will report directly to CFO, whose management team you will belong to, and work closely with the accounting departments throughout the group and with Head of Group Business Control. The position is located in Solna with the possibility for hybrid work.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Responsible for the group consolidation process including coordination and continuous improvements (incl. cash flow statements)
- Responsible for all external reporting including owners and annual reports
- Responsible for preparing and coordinating the interim reporting process (public bond) and official financial statements
- Proactively lead and drive continuously improvement efforts in terms of reporting timeline, quality of reporting etc.
- Responsible for PPAs, acquisition analysis and other areas as part of acquisitions
- Guide and provide support for various accounting matters (incl. IFRS)
- Establishing financial frameworks, subsidiary reporting manual and internal controls
- System owner of group consolidation system, Aaro
- Plan and lead the audit process on group level
- Responsible for the financial calendar
Your profile
You hold a university degree in business and economics and have solid experience in group consolidation and acquisitions in an international environment. We seek someone with knowledge in IFRS, preferably from a listed or PE-owned company. To excel in this position, we expect that you are a person who drives process development, have the ability to lead projects and work with continuous improvements. Moreover, proficiency in Excel and fluency in English are essential requirements.
